Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator in New Bern, NC. This full-time role involves front-desk duties, patient check-in/check-out, co-pays, records, and paperwork in a clinic serving adults with mental health and substance use conditions.

You will join a compassionate team focused on empowering clients and delivering high-quality care with strong customer service and coordination across services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with mental health population preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clerical functions in a clinic serving adults with substance use, mental health and co-occurring medical conditions.
• Serve as a front desk team member handling check-in/check-out, co-pays, medical records and patient paperwork/data.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families visiting the clinic.
