Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for our Elizabeth City, NC outpatient clinic. You will support front desk operations, check-in/check-out, collect co-pays, and manage patient paperwork while delivering compassionate service in a on-site environment.

Collaborate with clinical leaders in mental health and substance use services to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with mental health population preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clerical functions in an outpatient clinic serving adults with substance use, mental health and co-occurring conditions.
• Check in patients, collect co-pays, handle medical records and patient paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service as the face of the clinic during check-in and check-out.
