Easterseals PORT Health in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join our on-site outpatient clinic team. You will support front-desk operations, assist with patient check-in/out, and coordinate administrative tasks with compassion.

This full-time role offers pay of $14–$16 per hour, a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Friday with 8am–5pm, and opportunities for professional growth in mental health and substance use services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with mental health population preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clerical tasks in an outpatient clinic serving adults with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring conditions.
• Check in patients, collect co-pays, manage medical records and patient paperwork.
• Serve as the face of the clinic at check-in/out, delivering excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

• You will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical functions in a clinic that serves adults with substance use, mental health and co-occurring medical conditions
• Serve as a member of the front desk administrative team that checks in patients, collects co-pays, handles medical records and processes patient paperwork and data
• As the face of the organization at check-in and check-out the PSC proves excellent customer service to all patients and families visiting the clinic.

What You’ll Bring

• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel
