• Enters and maintains confidential patient information including patient insurance, billing, and payment information; assists billing functions.
• Demonstrates proficiency of emergency codes and applicable regulations.
• Monitors inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidentiality.
• Assist billing with basic processing and direct complex issues to the billing office.
• Respond appropriately to emergency codes per hospital policy.
• Support front desk operations and interdisciplinary team coordination.
