Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare, or patient-facing administrative role.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or medical administration certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-desk experience
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
