The YMCA of Greater Hartford in Granby, CT is seeking a Member Services Representative to deliver exceptional service to members, guests and staff. Under the guidance of the Membership Director, you will handle front desk operations, memberships, and program information.

You will greet visitors, manage phone calls, registrations and deposits, and use Daxko to process dues. Strong communication, versatile customer service experience and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Previous customer service, sales or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests; provide information and respond to inquiries.
• Handle front desk operations: calls, emails, registrations, deposits.
• Input registrations into Daxko and process dues/fees.
• Open and close facility; manage lobby traffic and safety.
• Support member retention programs and fundraising campaigns.
• Assist in training new staff and maintain cleanliness and safety.
