Physical Therapy Central in Oklahoma City is seeking a full-time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Midtown OKC team. You are the first voice and face patients see; you set the tone for the patient experience: organized, warm, and professional from the first call through every visit.

This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where your ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a customer-facing or patient-facing role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Basic computer proficiency and scheduling software familiarity.
• No prior medical experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating records.
• Keep patient flow by confirming appointments and managing waitlists and cancellations.
• Collect copays, balances, and other payments with accuracy and professionalism; basic payment tracking.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all front desk interactions and documentation.
