Physical Therapy Central, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist for the Mustang team in Yukon, Oklahoma. You are the first voice and face, setting a warm, organized and professional tone for every patient visit.

This fast-paced role covers front desk operations, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient payments. No healthcare background required—comprehensive training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• No healthcare background required; must enjoy helping people.
• 1+ year in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, call center, or medical reception).
• Able to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail oriented.
• Confident communicating on the phone with patients and callers.
• Basic computer proficiency; comfortable with scheduling software and emails.
• Comprehensive training provided including EMR navigation and billing basics.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, calls.
• Review and follow up on referrals; update patient records and explain next steps.
• Maintain patient flow: confirm appointments, waitlists, cancellations, follow ups.
• Collect copays and balances; basic payment tracking and reconciliation.
• Protect privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions.
