Job summary

EyeSouth Partners in Kentucky seeks a Front Desk Lead at Kentucky Eye Institute to supervise front desk operations, manage patient flow, and ensure accurate billing coordination with HIPAA compliance. The role blends administrative leadership with service excellence across a 60+ staff team.

Requirements include 1 year of medical office experience and strong data entry, customer service, and reliability. Nextech/ICP experience is preferred; compensation includes competitive benefits and growth

Qualifications

High School Diploma or the equivalent years related experience required.
Minimum of 1-year medical office experience.
Nextech/ICP experience strongly preferred.
Strong reliability with good attendance and punctuality.
Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and verify appointment details.
Collect necessary documentation including ID, Insurance Cards, referral forms, etc.
Book, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefit coverage for all in-office visits, procedures, and tests.
Collect co-payments and outstanding balances; calculate patient’s financial responsibility.
Explain billing procedures.
Enter data accurately in the practice management system.
Answer phones and respond to inquiries.
Relay messages between patients and clinical staff.
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Oversee front desk scheduling and patient flow.
