Job summary

One Ocean Resort & Spa is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly greet guests, check them in/out, and assist with reservations. You will handle charges, cash, and daily transactions while maintaining knowledge of room rates and cancellation procedures.

Candidate should be detail‑oriented, able to work in a team, and prepared for varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. This is an in‑office, full‑time role located in Arcadia, CA.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel.
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
• Post all charges promptly, accurately and efficiently.
• Know how to operate Front Office systems for daily transactions.
• Manage cash handling from guests (cash, checks, credit cards) and provide correct change.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Be familiar with hotel rates, discounts and cancellation/relocation procedures.
