Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking motivated undergraduates for a Margaritaville Lake Resort front desk internship this summer. You will greet guests, handle check-in/check-out, and learn forecasting and scheduling while training on the job.

The role emphasizes excellent English communication, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is $15 per hour, with experience not required.

Qualifications

• Must be current undergraduate student; hospitality major preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and with guests.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out promptly and courteously following Front Desk procedures.
• Issue room keys and post charges accurately.
• Handle guest payments, balance cash and daily reports.
• Answer multiple phone lines and direct calls to appropriate extensions.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Rotate between Front Desk, PBX, and Night Audit tasks.
• Assist guests with directions, luggage, and information.
