Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management’s Margaritaville Lake Resort Osage Beach MO is seeking motivated undergraduates for a Front Desk internship this summer. Training provided; no prior experience required beyond strong English skills and a positive attitude.

Must be 18+, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn about forecasting and scheduling. Expected duties include guest check-in/out, answering calls, assisting with directions and luggage, and shadowing managers and night

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and genuine hospitality.
• Follows Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.
• Organized, able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to handle difficult people.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out promptly following Front Desk procedures.
• Issue room keys per security practices and post charges accurately.
• Manage payments, cash handling, and daily end-of-shift reports.
• Answer multiple telephone lines and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and rotate on Front Desk, PBX, and Night Audit.
