THIS POSITION IS AN INTERNSHIP FOR CURRENT UNDERGRAD STUDENTS ONLY - PREFERENCE GIVEN TO HOSPITALITY MAJORS OR RELATED FIELDS OF STUDY. This internship runs from Late May 2027 to August 2027.

JOB SUMMARY
INTERNSHIP FOR CURRENT UNDERGRADUATES ONLY! Guests at Margaritaville Lake Resort come to experience the special vibes that only the Margaritaville brand can provide! We are looking for bright, confident and outgoing individuals to join the Front Desk team this summer to be part of the warmest welcome our resort can offer and to CREATE AND DELIVER FUN AND ESCAPISM for our guests. Experience is not required - we will train you on the job. To work on the Front Desk, you must be upbeat, clear thinking, a confident communicator with excellent English language skills. You must be at least 18 years of age and possess an outgoing and positive attitude as well as a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. There are opportunities for those who want to learn what goes on behind the scenes too. Spend time on the PBX Operator seat taking and directing calls, greet our guests at the door with a warm welcome and assist them with directions, luggage and information, talk to or shadow the Managers, learn about forecasting and scheduling and even shadow the Night Auditor. The possibilities are up to you! You must be able to stand for long periods of time, be an excellent communicator in English, present a confident and friendly personality and be able to remain calm under pressure. We'll take care of the rest!
