DuPage County Health Department seeks a Customer Service Representative to greet clients at the Central Public Health Center in Wheaton, handle front desk duties, prepare and gather paperwork, and provide rapid screening and referrals in person or by phone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in customer service or human services preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Ability to perform front desk duties and data entry.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Updates client records; enters client data into computer systems.
• Schedules appointments and ensures signed forms are obtained.
• Sets up clinic rooms and processes daily reports; monitors supplies.
• Assists clients with tests and collects health histories.
• Maintains training, licensure, and/or certification as required.
• Adheres to attendance and punctuality guidelines; participates in emergencies.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and respects cultural diversity.
• Assists with evaluating program eligibility and interpretation when needed.
