Job summary

Shaner Hotels in State College is seeking a friendly front desk agent to welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs at our Fairfield Inn & Suites State College.

You will provide information about local attractions, handle payments in accordance with hotel policies, resolve guest inquiries, and collaborate with housekeeping to ensure a smooth and memorable stay for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
