Job summary

Shaner Hotels seeks a Front Desk Agent for our State College Holiday Inn, State College, PA. The role involves welcoming guests, handling check-ins/outs, and delivering exceptional service in a full-service on-site hotel environment.

You will process payments, provide local information, and coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Experience in hospitality and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Computer experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
