Job summary

State College Holiday Inn is seeking a Front Desk Agent in State College, PA on-site to warmly welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and manage guest requests.

You will work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, process payments, generate reports, and coordinate with housekeeping to resolve discrepancies. Experience in customer service and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; computer skills are required to join a vibrant hospitality team in Happy Valley.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to hotel requirements.
• Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
• Handle payments, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
