Job summary

Stonebridge Companies is seeking a Guest Service Agent in New Orleans, LA to support front desk operations and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. You will greet guests, register rooms, handle inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for guest issues.

The role requires prior front desk experience, solid communication and cash-handling skills, and proficiency with PMS and office software. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred.
• Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and basic office software.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic bookkeeping.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests on arrival.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods.
• Maintain accurate guest records and room availability.
• Post charges for rooms, meals, and services; balance accounts.
• Use PMS and manual systems to manage guest accounts.
• Answer inquiries about services, dining, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance for guest issues.
• Handle check-out process and resolve discrepancies.
