You will handle registration details, input information, issue keys, promote programs, assist with check-out, process payments, and answer guest questions, while staying knowledgeable about rooms, rates, packages, and local attractions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting/retrieving information, confirming guest details and room rate, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet, and guiding guests to their room or bell services.
• Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms/services are accounted, using the POS system, handling payments, processing cards, accepting various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates/cards.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area, and general product knowledge; answer guest questions and inquiries.
• Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Field guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests.
