Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6–12 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and follow written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Operates the Property Management System and PBX; balances daily shift bank and maintains organization.
• Regularly stands, walks, and communicates; may lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service consistently.
• Pre-assign hotel rooms including VIPs, repeat guests, packages, and special requests.
• Check in and out guests confidently and professionally.
• Answer phone calls promptly with complete and accurate information.
• Complete all items on shift checklists.
• Follow established key control policy and verify credit limits.
• Submit lost & found reports with required documentation.
• Coordinate with concierge to provide local information and services.
• Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and safety.
• Open, balance, and secure daily shift cash/credit transactions.
• Monitor room availability and assist with yield management.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and coordinate with other departments.
