Job summary

Hilton Rosemont is seeking a hospitality professional to attend to guests' needs at the front desk, including registration, checkout and cashiering. You will greet guests, verify reservations, manage payments, issue keys, and communicate with other departments to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.

This indoor role requires strong communication, leadership and organizational skills, with opportunities to work varied shifts and provide excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
• Strong customer relations skills and leadership capability.
• Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Most work tasks are performed indoors in a climate controlled environment.
• BASSET certification is required for this role per alcohol service laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, verifying reservations and collecting payments.
• Accept payments at registration and checkout; maintain a house bank and report receipts daily.
• Issue keys and control access to safety deposit boxes; post miscellaneous charges as requested.
• Coordinate with front desk and other departments for VIPs, special requests, and departures.
• Ensure all necessary reports and forms are completed daily.
• Assist concierge in handling mail/facsimiles and providing guest information.
