The St. Joe Company is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in and out, and ensure an enjoyable stay at the hotel. You will greet guests, answer questions, and provide information about rooms, rates, and amenities.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain records, handle payments, and coordinate with housekeeping. Familiarity with front desk software and local attractions helps deliver outstanding service.

Formación

• Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred.
• Previous customer experience preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Registers guest and accommodates requests whenever possible.
• Handles both check-in and check-out process.
• Takes payment and resolves billing issues.
• Post changes to appropriate guest accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of guests that have checked in and out.
• Answer phones and respond to emails in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer questions about rooms, rates, and hotel amenities with accurate information.
• Anticipate and address guests' needs, resolving problems and complaints.
• Make recommendations for activities and restaurants.
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIPs and event attendees.
• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
• Liaise with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready.
• Store luggage and arrange transportation as needed.
• Maintain a clean and tidy front desk area.
