Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Tulare is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, and address needs promptly. You will be the first point of contact and help create memorable experiences that encourage guest loyalty.

We value courteous communication, teamwork, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, with opportunities for growth in hospitality services.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests.
• Efficiently handle check-ins/check-outs and reconcile daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments professionally and courteously.
• Checking guests in and out of the hotel efficiently, courteously, and professionally.
• Reconcile daily activities and close all necessary accounts.
• Learn the property systems and navigate reports as needed.
• Follow proper cash/check/credit card procedures and maintain security over cash and deposits.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure guest requests are handled and followed up.
• Identify potential leads during guest interactions and share with sales/GM.
• Answer phone and emails promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
