Job summary

Golder Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk/Guest Service Representative to provide an exceptional guest experience at all times. You will be the first contact for guests, handling check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries with a professional and energetic demeanor.

Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role requires standing for extended periods and strong written and spoken English communication to guide guests and coordinate with staff.

Qualifications

• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of local attractions and entertainment venues.
• Considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations and backup systems.
• Above average mathematical comprehension.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, some of whom will require a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy, to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Performing the check-in and check-out process
• Answer all incoming and in-house phone calls
• Assist callers with making and/or changing reservations
• Assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience
• Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time
• Communicate with guests and employees both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction
