Sonesta Simply Suites Falls Church in Falls Church, VA seeks a Guest Service Agent to deliver exceptional front desk service and support the Operations Manager. You will handle guest check-ins, phone inquiries, cash handling, and small reservations while upholding Sonesta's service standards.

The role requires a friendly, professional communicator with 1 year of hotel or retail experience, basic math, and familiarity with Opera and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
• Fluent English required; additional languages helpful.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe and/or TIPS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and location.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash/credit transactions and manage deposits and reports.
• Upsell rooms and follow seasonal reservation pricing strategies.
• Ensure guest requests are fulfilled and safety policies are followed.
