Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform moderate math calculations with a calculator.
• Ability to deal with customers with patience and diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly welcome and provide accurate information about hours and attractions.
• Complete registration using the computer system, assign rooms, and code keys.
• Handle payments, post charges, and balance a house bank.
• Answer telephone messages and relay information to guests.
• Close accounts at checkout and address guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Resolve guest issues through research and negotiation, maintaining professionalism.
