Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a front desk associate to assist guests with arrival and departure, ensuring a warm welcome and accurate registration.

You will input guest information into our computer system, confirm details such as the number of guests and room rates, and promote HEI brand programs. This role involves handling payments, vouchers, and currency conversions, with a focus on delivering positive guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent numerical and math skills for basic calculations.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to stand and move around front office throughout shift.
• Proficient in entering information into a computer system.
• Aptitude to recognize and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a sincere welcome.
• Complete registration and manage room rates and guest details in the system.
• Process payments, vouchers, and currency conversions as needed.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages accurately.
• Close accounts at checkout and handle any guest dissatisfaction.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues with professional discretion.
• Remain calm during busy periods or emergencies and follow procedures.
