Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead guest services at a busy San Diego property. You will oversee check-in/check-out, train staff, manage cash handling, and ensure brand standards across the front office.

The role requires strong customer service, leadership, and knowledge of PMS systems, with a focus on cost control and guest satisfaction in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Front Desk experience, preferably in leadership role.
• Proficient with PMS system.
• Advanced knowledge of brand’s reward program.
• Able to handle cash and credit transactions.
• Computer literacy and financial management a must.
• Able to deal effectively with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Knowledge of local attractions and transportation.
• Aware of emergency signs and able to remain calm in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest service standards for arrival, departure, and all guest contact.
• Oversee front office operations, labor scheduling, and cost controls.
• Prepare forecasts, reports, and room budget projections.
• Maintain front office systems and equipment for peak performance.
• Interact with guests to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to boost occupancy and revenues.
