Job summary

Carlton Senior Living is seeking a Receptionist to serve as the Director of First Impressions—greeting visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism. You will answer calls, monitor emergency systems, and assist with administrative tasks such as records, mail, and interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Prior administrative experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism and provide accurate information and direction.
• Answer and direct phone calls, monitor emergency systems, and respond to resident and guest needs with high customer service.
• Support administrative tasks: maintain resident records, handle mail, coordinate with maintenance or other departments.
• Assist Sales and Activities teams with event coordination, guest arrangements, and marketing materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and stay informed about community events to engage residents and guests.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.
