Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co in Arlington is seeking a warm Front Office Agent to be the face of our property, delivering memorable check-in and check-out experiences with professionalism and genuine hospitality. You'll greet guests, assign rooms, verify payments, promote services, and stay informed about events and group bookings.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year guest service experience and are able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year guest service experience preferred.
• Experience with PMS (Opera preferred).
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Verify credit and payment information per hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
