Job summary

Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking a warm, professional Front Office Agent to greet guests, check them in and out, and deliver memorable service in a fast-paced downtown setting.

You will collaborate with teams across departments, handle guest requests and payments promptly, promote hotel services and local attractions, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience at every touchpoint.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Property Management System, Opera preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information per hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism and prioritize safety.
• Attend mandatory trainings and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
