Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Akron Canton Airport is seeking a Part-Time Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Office Agent.

You will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service from check-in to check-out, interacting with a diverse range of guests, and promoting hotel services and local attractions. The role offers weekend and holiday shifts with opportunities for growth within a renowned Hilton property.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles in hospitality, retail, or food service.
• Familiarity with computers and reservation or PMS systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience handling guest complaints or resolving conflicts calmly.
• Experience managing multiple tasks (phones, reservations, guest assistance).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out processing for guests.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Provide prompt, professional guest service and respond to inquiries.
• Process payments and deposits accurately.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs.
• Provide information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the PMS.
• Upsell rooms and hotel amenities to enhance guest experience.
• Follow safety and security protocols.
