Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a friendly Front Desk associate for the Cambria Hotel Austin Downtown to deliver outstanding guest service at check-in and throughout the stay.

You will handle guest requests, promote hotel programs, and liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations. A fast-paced environment and weekend/holiday shifts are common, with opportunities to grow in guest services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to make an impact on guests.
• Outgoing, engaging personality.
• Computer and POS skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in, ensuring proper credit and accurate information.
• Respond to special requests and resolve issues to WOW guests.
• Promote and sell special hotel programs and packages.
• Assist other departments and communicate pertinent information to the manager on duty.
• Maintain house bank and process billing and refunds.
• Follow posting, charging, cashing checks, safe deposits procedures.
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
• Interact professionally with all hotel staff.
