Job summary

Six Flags Great Adventure is hiring a Front Desk Agent in New Jersey to check guests in and out of the hotel and deliver exceptional service throughout their stay. You will communicate clearly, assist guests, and uphold Six Flags guest service standards.

Pay is $20.00 per hour, with duties including handling reservations, billing, and coordination with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience. Prior experience with Opera PMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• General computer knowledge
• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Experience with Credit Card Machine and cash handling preferred
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a positive attitude
• Experience working with the public in service industries preferred
• Comfortable answering and transferring calls
• Knowledge of hotel property and safari hours and offerings
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Calm and professional under pressure
• Familiar with Opera software preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide excellent service to ensure satisfaction
• Respond to guest requests and complaints with proper channels
• Handle guest billing professionally
• Resolve guest issues using problem-solving skills
• Coordinate with departments to address guest requests
• Provide property information to guests prior to arrival
• Operate Opera PMS to make reservations and view billing
• Check guests in with accurate information and establish credit
• Create and distribute room and staff keys
• Handle inbound calls from guests and the public
• Coordinate transportation for check-ins/check-outs
• Adhere to policies and safety standards
• Communicate clearly with guests and management
• Assist other departments as needed
• Create customized itineraries for guests
