Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Front Desk Agent for Hotel Indigo Old Town Alexandria. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, responsible for managing guest bookings, handling transactions, and assisting with inquiries to ensure a smooth experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, have a high school diploma, and ideally some experience in guest services. The position offers a starting pay rate of $19.50 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests effectively.
• Proven problem-solving skills to address guest concerns.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Must be literate and tech-savvy.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• At least one year of front desk or guest service experience.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
