Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Guest Service Agent for the Homewood Suites property. You will welcome guests, assist with check-ins/outs, answer questions, and support housekeeping and front desk operations to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

The role requires a warm, professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask during busy shifts. Flexibility for extended hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk per Highgate Hotel standards.
• Operate PBX console and maintain hotel standards.
• Answer inquiries about services, facilities and hours of operation promptly.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare shift closing paperwork per hotel standards.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Be familiar with rates, packages and promotions and in-house groups.
