The Avenue at Broadview Heights is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility with private suites, designed for comfort, dignity, and healing. We are seeking a friendly receptionist who will greet residents, families, staff, and visitors, and manage front-desk operations.

As the first point of contact, you will screen calls, direct inquiries, and support a calm, welcoming environment while ensuring accurate census and updated contacts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience or training in long-term care is preferred.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential.
• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple phone lines and multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Screen and route telephone calls to appropriate individuals or departments.
• Answer questions promptly, courteously, and accurately.
• Route deliveries and relay information to staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate resident census and updated contact lists.
• Operate facility paging and telephone systems.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Direct residents and visitors to appropriate individuals.
• Investigate and route complaints appropriately.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and teamwork.
