The Avenue at Broadview Heights is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant to enrich residents' lives through engaging programs in a beautiful, private-room setting. We focus on stable, non-complex medical needs with a family-owned environment that values care and community.

You will plan and lead activities, maintain supplies, document participation, and coordinate events while collaborating with staff and families to ensure safety and meaningful engagement for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities programming or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative and adaptable to various resident needs
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Able to move throughout the facility and interact with residents empathetically

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and leading individual and group activities
• Organize and maintain activity supplies
• Document resident participation and support Resident Council meetings
• Coordinate evening/weekend events and community programs
• Conduct room visits and personalized activities
• Ensure safety and infection control during sessions
• Collaborate with staff, families, and service providers
