Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health Center in Devens, Massachusetts, is seeking a Receptionist to be the front-facing contact for patients, families and visitors. You will answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and support clerical tasks in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to professionally represent the hospital as the first point of contact.
• Previous experience working directly with the public required.
• Strong verbal communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette.
• Basic computer skills, including minimal typing and routine task completion.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate associates.
• Assist family members during visitation, including directing family members to locker areas to store personal belongings during visits.
• Mail distribution, as well as additional clerical duties.
• Front-facing representative of our hospital with extensive public contact.
