Railside Assisted Living Center is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, organization, and professional communication in a compassionate senior living environment.

Position is full-time, on-site in Byron Center, MI, with a pay range of $14.50–$16.50 per hour based on experience. Benefits include health options, performance-based raises, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Friendly, professional and welcoming demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, word processing, data entry).

Responsibilities

• Answer and screen incoming calls courteously and route to appropriate staff.
• Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide basic information and distribute brochures to prospective residents and families.
• Maintain reception area and handle mail and supplies.
• Monitor front lobby and ensure security of residents and staff.
• Assist with pre-screening questions and data entry tasks.
• Coordinate with administrative staff and managers as needed.
• Assist with event notices, menus, and packet preparation.
