Job summary

AvalonBay Communities is seeking a Concierge (Part-Time) to lead our front desk team and deliver exceptional resident experiences at our Washington, DC property. The role emphasizes guest services, coordination with leasing and maintenance, and upholding high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency (GED) required.
• 1+ years of related experience in a hotel, retail or restaurant is preferred.
• Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Mobility to walk the property and maneuver packages/deliveries

Responsibilities

• Lead front desk operations and ensure exemplary customer service for residents and prospects.
• Monitor foot traffic, address resident satisfaction, and coordinate with leasing and maintenance teams.
• Support move-in/move-out processes and provide personalized recommendations to residents.
