Job summary

Capital Vacations in Utah is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to provide a warm, welcoming guest experience and ensure smooth check-in and check-out throughout each stay.

You will coordinate with other departments, handle reservations, post charges, answer questions about local restaurants and attractions, and respond to guest needs to maximize satisfaction and repeat visits.

High School Diploma/GED is preferred and prior hospitality or customer service experience is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Front desk operations and guest service focus.
• Strong communication and guest relation skills.
• Ability to balance tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous front desk operations.
• Check guests in/out, collect balances, post charges, and handle reservations.
• Answer guest questions about local restaurants and attractions.
• Send confirmations to owners/guests and notify owners about villa rentals.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth guest requests.
• Process revenue, balance cash drawer, and perform banking runs.
• Prepare check-in packets and manage office tasks as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
