Job summary

Longboat Key Club is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and deliver attentive service at the front desk. The role involves handling payments, coordinating with bell staff, and providing information to guests to ensure a smooth arrival and stay.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, patience, and problem-solving abilities to maintain our high standard of hospitality in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong guest-service orientation and professional appearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
• Ability to diffuse tense situations and handle inquiries calmly.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcome
• Recognizing repeat, VIP status and/or loyalty
• Administering check-ins and check-outs
• Providing front desk services to guests
• Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties
• Delivering mail and messages
• Processing guest payments
• Coordinating with bell service and staff management
• Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice
• Accommodating general and unique requests
• Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests, handling guest opportunities
