Job summary

Hotel Shattuck Plaza in Berkeley seeks a friendly, dependable Full-Time Front Desk Agent/Guest Service Concierge to welcome guests from arrival to departure. Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

You will manage check-in/check-out, guest accounts, reservations, and coordination with housekeeping and other departments while delivering outstanding service in a historic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk or guest services preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS and basic computer apps.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining welcoming.
• Cash handling and guest account review experience.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out with efficiency and warmth.
• Address guest questions and concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and folios.
• Provide information on amenities, dining, transportation, local attractions.
• Answer calls and assist with reservations.
