Job summary

Farah & Farah is a large personal injury law firm in Macon, GA. We are seeking a part-time receptionist who will be the first point of contact for the organization, greeting visitors and handling a variety of clerical tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

The successful candidate will answer and route phone calls, schedule meetings, manage messages, sort mail, and assist attorneys and staff with basic clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional front desk role preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming on-site guests, determine nature of business, and announce guest to appropriate personnel.
• Answering incoming telephone calls, determining purpose of callers, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department.
• Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
• Scheduling meetings, travel plans, and conference rooms for attorneys, clients and vendors.
• Assist the legal teams with clerical duties to include faxing, copying, and organizing/maintaining files.
• Ensure main voicemail reflects office closings, special events as well as posting office closed signs.
