Volunteers of America-Greater New York seeks a Front Desk Monitor/Client Care Specialist to ensure safety for clients, staff and the facility. You will greet visitors, assist with intake, route mail, and support residents while maintaining confidentiality.

This is a full-time, on-site role with responsibilities that include crisis support, daily sign-in/out, and adherence to procedures in emergencies. The organization offers comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven team environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Polite and pleasant manner; efficient and firm; ability to operate a busy front desk/security operation.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Greet visitors and direct them or announce arrival to staff/residents.
• Assist with intake process.
• Ensure lodging sheets are signed daily.
• Update SORTS daily and accurately.
• Ensure clients sign in/out daily.
• Route mail and deliveries as required.
• Handle or assist in crisis intervention.
• Follow procedures in emergencies.
