Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel in Missouri is hiring a Front Desk Clerk to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and handle payments and inquiries. The role requires standing for the shift and strong guest service skills. Training on the AS/400 system is provided, with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.

The position offers a swing shift with starting pay at $16.00 per hour, and benefits begin with day-one coverage including medical, dental, and vision as part of a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, provide information about property events and guest requests.
• Process guest payments and accounts at checkout with accuracy.

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will:

Pay: $16.00 | Shift: Swing

• Efficiently and effectively check guests in and out, provide information about property events, understand guest requests and respond to guest needs.
• Process guest payments and accounts upon checkout in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner aligned with internal controls.
• Answer internal and external calls in order to answer questions, direct calls or provide general information.
• Operate AS/400 hotel computer system, credit card machine and other office equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
• This position will require you to be standing during the duration of your shift. You will also be required to help assist with guests and their check-in needs.

• Prior cash handling is preferred
• Basic computer and math skills are required and the ability to operate POS systems is strongly preferred
• Flexibility to varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy, confidence, and professionalism is strongly preferred
