Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Front Desk Clerk for the Holland America Skagway Inn. The role is seasonal full-time in Guest Services, located in Skagway, Alaska.

Expect guest-focused service from check-in to check-out, with knowledge of local attractions and internal policies. Responsibilities include handling guest requests, managing reservations and amenities, and delivering timely information with a smile.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficient with computer business applications and reservations systems.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet time constraints.

As a Front Desk Clerk, you'll be the go-to expert for guests - listening to their needs, answering questions, and delivering exceptional service with a smile. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs a variety of moderately difficult customer service tasks.
• Applies knowledge of Company products, services, and policies to evaluate customer's needs, provide information, and resolve complaints.
• Design and conduct presentations for guests.
• Coordinate guest amenity requests, reservations, and special requests.
• Assist customers, employees, and management and responds to queries.

REQUIREMENTS

• One year of experience in positions involving customer service.
• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized reservations systems.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

• Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
