Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking an Executive Housekeeper for the Holland America Skagway Inn. This seasonal, full-time role leads housekeeping operations in a luxury setting, ensuring five-star cleanliness and guest comfort aboard our Alaska operation.

You will train staff, schedule activities, and oversee guest rooms and public areas, maintaining high standards, safety, and compliance with company policies.

Seasoned Executive Housekeeper with a strong record of delivering five-star cleanliness and service in upscale hotels and estates. Skilled in leading diverse teams, streamlining operations, and ensuring every space meets the highest standards of comfort and elegance. Known for driving efficiency, enhancing guest satisfaction, and creating a culture of excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures all housekeeping duties are carried out in a timely and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Trains and supervises the Housekeeping staff.
• Assists with scheduling, housekeeping activities, and operations.
• Performs a combination of tasks to maintain hotel guestrooms and surrounding areas in the housekeeping department.
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, objectives, and applicable government laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Ability to prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, and supervise and manage staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
