Job summary

Omaha Marriott Downtown is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests and manage check-ins and check-outs with Marriott systems in the heart of downtown Omaha. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional service and creating memorable first impressions.

You will handle reservations, inquiries, and guest issues while maintaining professionalism and accuracy, working with a dynamic team. A high school diploma and 6+ months of guest service experience are required, with benefits including

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months previous work experience in a guest service position.
  • Must read, listen, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Deliver guest experiences from check-in to checkout.
  • Handle reservations, inquiries, and complaints using Marriott systems.
  • Maintain composure and resolve guest issues effectively.
  • Build guest relationships through personalized service and local knowledge.

  • Accurately manage financial transactions and cash handling.

  • Support hotel operations with various administrative duties.

What will you be doing?

What do you bring to the role?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6+ months previous work experience in a guest service position required, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Able to work independently, has good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
    Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
